cinderella + gus gus halloween costume

Lauren needed a fun costume to wear to her dance class for halloween week - so I decided to put together this costume out of clothing she already had, and sew up the rest with felt I had on had as well (free costume for the win!). Ethan pretty much HAD to be gus gus for his first halloween anyway - so I’d say it was a win-win!

I made her hair bow out of blue felt I had, sewed up an apron out of some linen fabric I tore out of a dress she had outgrown, and modified an old brown tunic sweater (Joe Fresh) into her dress (it’s the only thing brown we had - an old t-shirt would have worked much better!). She already had the blue blouse (Zara) and black flats (Old Navy). For Ethan, I sewed his hat out of felt, and used a onesie and socks he already had, and one of Lauren’s yellow t-shirts!
