fun with christmas wrapping

I always have fun wrapping up my christmas presents. I tend to make gift tags out of something I have lying around (cardstock, felt…I even used some extra paint samples I had one year!). This year I had so much canvas left over from my diy advent calendar that I decided to make my tags of out canvas! I used stamps to add the word “JOY” on the front, and just wrote on the back with a sharpie, and used twine to tie them onto the gifts.

I also wanted to personalize each gift, so I made felt letter tree ornaments for everyone as well! These were really easy - I traced and cut out the letter on cardboard (I used cereal boxes), then cut out 2 more pieces out of felt, and glued all 3 layers together with twine in the middle to hang on the tree. Simple!
