gift baskets for a girl's weekend

I wanted to put together a gift basket for each of my friends when we got together a few weeks ago for a girl’s weekend. I rounded up all of the essentials: candy, chocolate, spa samples, lip balm, and of course, a beverage! I packaged them all up in these DIY felt baskets that I made (see the tutorial here!).

Take a look at everything I included:

I made these scrunchies for everyone out of a T-shirt! (here’s how to do it!) They turned out so cute and I loved that we all had matching top knots all weekend!

For a little pampering, I included these skincare samples from Eminence. Each of the girls got a mask, cleanser, moisturizer, makeup primer, body lotion, and serum. I also added Neuma hair samples for a super moisturizing hair mask, shampoo, conditioner and argan oil.

These Ace Hill vodka sodas are so good! The lemon one is my favourite and I love that they are made by a brewery in Toronto.

One of my favourite things to make when I want a treat are mug cakes! So I wanted to make a little package for the girls to make their own. I just added all of the dry ingredients to these bags, and printed out the directions (with what to add and how to cook). This is the recipe I always use - it’s so good!

I used these iron-on letters to create these little monogrammed bags for each of the girls. I wrapped up a delicious coconut lip balm in each bag.

what would a girl’s weekend be without candy? I added a bag of Smart Sweets to each basket because this candy is seriously so good!
