valentine's day tea party

A little Valentine’s Day tea party was the perfect way to celebrate heart day with my little loves! For decor, I set the table with pretty pink+red linens, and added candles to make it feel fancy. Then, I filled the ceiling above our dining table with balloons (I cheated and used sticky dots to attach them - no helium required!) Lastly, I tied satin ribbons around the candle sticks to add a pretty detail to the table top,

For festive treats, I picked up this gorgeous vintage heart-shaped cake from Crave Cupcakes, a few heart-shaped sandwich cookies, and mini cupcakes for each of us. I made heart-shaped strawberry scones, banana bread and added lots of strawberries and raspberries to snack on as well. For tea - I made peach-raspberry tea and it was delicious! I found little crystal jars for the milk and a pretty sugar bowl at the thrift store, as well as a couple pretty pink and floral tea cups.
