little love letters for valentine's day
When I was thinking about what to do for Valentines’s Day with the kids this year, I was immediately inspired by these adorable blush pink envelope napkins from A Little Confetti! I decided to run with it and set up a “little love letters” party!
The paper napkins happened to be folded along the top edge already - so I ended up hanging them on string to create a garland! I also added a felt envelope in between each one, and I thought it turned out really sweet! We enjoyed a few treats (the prettiest heart-shaped sugar cookies and macarons!), and I filled these adorable little treat boxes with a few dollar-store surprises [a bubble wand, mini glow sticks, a bouncy ball, heart shaped pop-it] for the kids.
We wrote little notes to everyone in our family - making sure to highlight all of the things we love about them! It was so wholesome + heartwarming to read them after! I was also so impressed with Lauren’s writing skills on her own already, watching her put her feelings into words in a handwritten letter? Just the sweetest thing.
